Breven was pretty easy to please for his birthday too! Things that all boys want.........make a bomb........make a cake.......and make a wish! He got to do them all of course. We also went to the movies and zoo with his friend, had a family dinner, had a friend over from school on his real birthday for pizza after his treat in his class! Pretty much spoiled for his birthday which is what it's all about! Happy 8th Breven! We love you.

You can take the boys out of the desert.......
Brad's Birthday Bash
Brad turned 12! Where does it go? It seems to go by faster and faster with each year. Brad wanted to have friends over to stay the night at the new house. I wasn't sure about the house being ready in time but I should have known better. The boys didn't care if the house was ready........they had a refrigerator, washer, and dryer box and an unexplored hill in the back yard! They played in the dirt until it was time for cake and presents and then went back for more! Boys are so easy to please. Happy Birthday Brad. We love you.
Mr. Funny Guy
So Breven brought home a talent show permission slip and said he wanted to learn to play the electric guitar like his bro......in three weeks! I'm glad he's confident, but three weeks is pushing it. I suggested that he enter the talent show with a talent he already has. He said, "O.K. I will do stand up comedy then." Really? Breven cracks us up all the time, but in front of an audience? Sure enough, he rocked the mic and won the title of Brookside Idol 2010! Check out his bit on youTube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CG3E0HfH-ls

Rock N' Roll Cody Christmas
"The family that talks together, Rocks together!"
After our amazing day at the beach we drove around and checked out Christmas lights and nativity scenes, rocked out to more Christmas songs, and drove home to eat a yummy Christmas dinner together. The next morning was a fog, literally. The fog machine started up, the kids ran out to open stockings and presents, and of course.........Rock Band! Woo Hoo! The boys were so excited! We rocked out together the rest of the day in candy cane pajay-jays! Is there really anymore to say?!
Then came the Rockin' around the Christmas Tree.
If you like the beard, you should've seen Uncle Scott dance!
Bike rides on high wheels wearing candy cane pajay-jays.
Family Fun! Bryce, Trish, Brad, Pops, Am, Uncle Scott, Breven, Gram, and Uncle Gerry
Another year of fun family traditions Cody style. Love you!
